CarePatrol Franchise: Leading Senior Care Placement Services
About CarePatrol Franchise
CarePatrol was established in 1993 by social worker Chuck Bongiovanni after he witnessed the trauma of a family whose loved one was placed in an unsuitable facility. It pioneered the senior placement industry, and today, CarePatrol continues to help families across the United States make safe and informed choices. The brand has grown steadily, ensuring robust support for franchisees nationwide.
Help Families Find Senior Living
CarePatrol assists seniors and their families in identifying the most appropriate senior living options, including assisted living, independent living, memory care, and residential care facilities. Each CarePatrol office works with numerous local providers and earns a fee every time a client is placed with one of them. This service is free for clients, as franchisees are compensated directly by the thousands of providers in the network. This model benefits everyone involved, providing significant satisfaction with every successful placement.
Why CarePatrol?
CarePatrol franchise owners have a substantial impact on the lives of seniors and their families by helping them find the necessary care. The franchise offers:
- Proven Business Model: CarePatrol is the largest senior care placement franchise in the U.S., with over 200 locations. Since 1993, its best practices have helped entrepreneurs build businesses that make a difference in their communities.
- High Demand: The need for senior care services is increasing, and this demand is expected to grow significantly as the senior population is projected to reach 100 million by 2060.
- No Experience Required: Most franchise owners did not have prior senior care experience. CarePatrol provides extensive training and resources to help franchisees become trusted advisors in their communities.
- Low-Cost Investment: CarePatrol offers a home-based and turnkey business model with low overhead and high earning potential.

Owning a CarePatrol franchise is the ideal way to own a business that exists to help others, with the added benefit of joining a system that has 30+ years of building a nationally trusted name, systems, and processes that allow entrepreneurs to succeed.
Skills Needed to Franchise with CarePatrol
No prior experience in the senior care or medical industries is necessary. However, CarePatrol looks for individuals who:
- Have a strong desire to help others
- Can communicate effectively
- Are skilled in building relationships and networking
- Can speak confidently in public
- Want to own a business that makes a difference
- Are eager to learn and grow
Path to Franchise Ownership
The franchise awarding process is a series of steps:
- Discovery Calls: We take our time getting to know you and giving you the opportunity to ask questions about our brand in a series of phone calls. These phone calls are casual and are intended to provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision about franchising with us.
- Executive Interview: You will speak to a CarePatrol executive in a long-form discussion that will complement the learning process and prepare you for final approval.
- Franchisee Calls: You will get a chance to speak to a number of our active franchisees to validate what you’ve learned and to get a real sense of the company culture.
- Meet The Team Day: You will fly out to our headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, where you will meet the executive and support teams, who will answer any questions you have. If we mutually determine that you’re the right fit for CarePatrol, you will be awarded a franchise and we will schedule our next steps.
How CarePatrol Will Support You in Your Business
CarePatrol understands that many potential franchisees may not have prior experience in the senior care industry. The intensive training program equips franchise owners with the skills needed to grow their businesses and make a meaningful impact.
CarePatrol's training program includes 16 weeks of consecutive training, divided into four stages, along with four personal visits to the franchisee’s territory within the first year. This comprehensive approach ensures franchisees become subject matter experts in their communities.
Training and Support
CarePatrol's training program is designed to equip franchisees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. The program consists of multiple phases, combining eLearning, virtual classes, and field training:
Phase One
CarePatrol's eLearning program will prepare you as a subject matter expert in senior placement within 6 weeks. You will understand differences in healthcare choices, the kind of treatment needed for certain medical issues, and how to assess assisted-living alternatives using CarePatrol's propriety software. Topics include:
- Establishing and outfitting your business
- Marketing
- Operations
- Understanding business metrics
Weekly foundational training check-ins will help set you up for success. You will receive your CSA or Certified Senior Advisor Certification by learning about The Journey of Aging, Health Transitions as People Grow Older, Quality of Life Choices for Older Adults, and Financial & Estate Planning for Seniors.
Phase Two
Upon completion of Phase 1, there are six weeks of additional in-person training that will build upon your foundation. You will also deep dive into subjects like:
- Client process and documentation
- Identifying targets
- Sales training
- Referral development
- Accounting and presentation
- Case studies
Additional Training
CarePatrol also offers ongoing training through national webinars, regional coaching clinics, and an annual National Convention. Franchisees have access to a Regional Performance Coach who provides continuous support and ensures franchisees are up-to-date with the latest best practices and industry developments .
Continuous Learning
To utilize the significant experience of their franchisees, CarePatrol recently launched the Franchise Business Trainer program. This program positions a few seasoned franchisees as mentors to help their fellow franchisees succeed. Some franchisees elect to shadow their mentors in their businesses to develop a hands-on mastery of the business model. Other franchisees ask their mentors to visit them in their locations to better assess the situation of their businesses.
