Right From the Start

  1. DURING THE EVALUATION PROCESS - We’re here to answer your questions—and calm your nerves—so you can decide if this is the business opportunity that’s a fit for you!
  2. ONCE THE PAPERS ARE SIGNED - you’ll start your training & education with operations, and you’ll work with a Great Clips Real Estate Manager who will help you establish a quality site by partnering with developers and landlords in your market.
  3. WHEN YOUR SITE IS SECURED - our Facilities and Purchasing Department will assist you in ordering all the equipment necessary, and walk with you every step of the way as your Great Clips salon comes to life!

Training

OUR TRAINING SETS GREAT CLIPS APART from other franchisors because we start with the people who are going to be leading the teams: You!

  1. GREAT CLIPS UNIVERSITY (online) - will help you learn the basics, such as real estate, marketing and salon operations.
  2. IN PERSON - whether it’s new franchisee orientation, stylist and management trainings in your local market, or observing another local franchisee in their salon- there are plenty of opportunities to meet people and get “hands-on experience”* with the brand.

*Hands-on experience doesn’t mean that you’re cutting hair.  You can certainly give it your best shot when you attend stylist training, but we’d prefer you keep your in-salon “hands-on experience” to things like checking customers in, or sweeping hair.
