INITIAL TRAINING

A Monster Tree Service® franchise includes two full weeks of initial training, with one week of classroom and hands-on training in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, followed by another full week of personal, onsite training at your location.

The two weeks don't have to run together, with the second week of training during your start-up phase.

You will learn Monster Tree Service® proprietary systems and processes for every part of the business; arborist education, proper tree care, how to recruit and hire the right help, manage day-to-day operations and market the business with our nationally recognized advertising programs.

Training continues throughout your term with ongoing education programs and regular onsite support by Certified Arborists with decades of experience.

Training sessions conducted by our professional staff, each an expert in their field who will also teach you:

  • Public and Employee Relations
  • Budgeting and Business Planning
  • Supplies and Purchasing
  • Bookkeeping and Financial Controls

In addition, our Certified Arborists will show you how to provide Estimates in Hours, Not Days™ and operate our exclusive Plant Health Care (PHC) program to add as an additional profit center for your business.

GRAND OPENING SUPPORT

To make sure the launch of your new business goes smoothly, after initial training our Certified Arborist, Field Operations and Safety Manager will be with you for a week, onsite at your location.  You’ll get personal, one-on-one assistance with hiring, sales, equipment, scheduling and more, followed by quarterly Field Support from then on.

ONGOING TRAINING & SUPPORT

In addition to the initial training class, we provide monthly online training sessions including our exclusive “Making You Money” series of training modules, arborist continuing education, an annual conference, and onsite visits throughout the year.
